Mont Clare Hotel, Dublin
starstarstar

An O'Callaghans hotel, the Mont Clare Hotel provides an ideal location for those who need to be close to the city while avoiding the noise and lights of the city centre itself. Situated on a corner of Merrion Square at the rere of Trinity College, the Mont Clare is a short walk away from both Dublin's business districts and the shopping areas of Grafton Street and Temple Bar.

The National Gallery and the Natural History Museum are just down the street and Pearse train/DART station is just 5 minutes away.

A well-appointed business hotel, the Mont Clare is a popular conference venue, with a spacious bar frequented by local workers, especially at lunchtime.

Secure parking facilities are available for guests nearby.

Accommodation

The hotel offers 80 air-conditioned bedrooms, all with bath and shower en suite. All rooms have direct dial telephones, satellite TV and movies, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer and trouser press and a personal safe.

Facilities

Breakfast is served in Goldsmiths Restaurant, which is also open for lunch and dinner in the evening. The Gallery Bar serves a carvery lunch daily. Sports events are shown on the widescreen TV there but, happily, the layout of the bar means there are plenty of places to go if you wish to ignore the sport.

The Mont Clare's sister hotels, The Alexander and The Davenport, are just across the road. These hotels have fitness and leisure facilities fitted with cardiovascular exercise machines which are open also to residents of the Mont Clare.
