The Harcourt Hotel, Dublin

Harcourt Hotel, Dublin
starstarstar

Much frequented by younger travellers, the Harcourt Hotel is located on a busy street off St Stephens Green, close to several nightclubs.

Set in a carefully maintained Georgian house, once the home of George Bernard Shaw, the Harcourt has a unique elegance and character. With regular live music sessions, including some of the best Irish traditional music in the city, as well as its own nightclub, the hotel has much to offer fun-seeking visitors to Dublin.

The shopping area of Grafton Street and all of the city's major tourist attractions are all within easy walking distance.

Accommodation

The hotel has 86 bedrooms, all en suite. All standard features are there: multi-channel TV, direct dial telephones, trouser presses, hairdryers and tea and coffee making facilities. Each room has been designed to express the original style and splendour of its Georgian setting.

Dining, Entertainment & Conferencing

Little Caesars is an excellent restaurant specialising in Mediterranean and international dishes, at great value for money.

Barneys Bar has live music on most nights and is one of Dublin's best music venues. In particular, guest will enjoy the traditional Irish sessions on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

There is also a smaller bar in the hotel, suitable for a quiet drink or rendevous in pleasant wood-panelled surroundings.

The hotel has six new conference rooms, elegantly restored to their original Georgian style and fully equipped with audiovisual facilities. Each can hold up to 40 delegates.

At the end of the evening, the newly refurbished Velvet Nite Club is one of the most lively and popular in the area.
